TEST INTEGRITY

Any test is subject to cheats, the RMA is less so for a number of reasons. First, ARHCP requires that members pass a yearly update test, exam holders would have to cheat, or find someone to cheat for them, every single year. Finding someone on a yearly basis to stay up to date with the latest coding and medical reimbursement changes and then take a 50-question test is very difficult and provides a substantial barrier.

Additionally, the RMA test has algorithms built into the code to locate questionable answering patterns. If one person is taking the test for a group of people, that person would miss similar questions. The algorithm or the instructor would certainly catch that kind of pattern and take the appropriate action.
